KEEMA MATAR - GROUND BEEF & PEAS CURRY
This is another one adapted from Mamta's Kitchen. The original recipe is here. I've made some adjustments to it. (If you like Indian food Mamta's Kitchen is a terrific resource for recipes.)

500 grams ground beef
200 grams frozen peas
200 grams finely chopped onion (I use red onions)
200 grams finely chopped fresh tomatoes
2 large garlic cloves, grated
0.5 inch fresh ginger, grated
oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1-2 bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon stick
2 large green cardamoms
5-6 cloves
5-6 black peppercorns
0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
0.5 teaspoon cayenne powder
1.5 teaspoons coriander powder
salt to taste (I usually use around 1 teaspoon)
0.5 teaspoon garam masala powder
Heat oil in pan and when it's hot add the cumin seeds. When they start to crackle add the onions and fry until they're a nice golden brown.
Add the garlic and ginger to the onions and fry for 30 seconds or so.
Add the ground spices except the garam masala and fry for a few seconds.
Add the chopped tomatoes and fry over low heat until the tomatoes completely dissolve and you have a thick, brown-ish goo...almost like a paste.
Add the ground beef, brown it, and then add the peas and 1/2 cup of water. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
When it's done add the garam masala, adjust the salt and sprinkle with fresh coriander.
